Washer makes strange sounds

There is no doubt that the washing machine makes noises- but we know when the noises are too loud. An unpleasantly noisy washing machine could raise some concerns. We conducted an inspection of the Westinghouse washing machine upon arrival by checking the interior of the machine for foreign objects. The laundry did not have any loose objects that may have fallen out. We investigated the drum bearing, which had failed. The drum was spun by hand to determine whether this was the cause. We determined it was the spider behind the drum that had broken away from the drum and was making a lot of noise. By replacing the corroded spider, we were able to resolve the problem.
